ABOUT

I help women revel in the magic of aging.

You’re a post-menopausal woman who wants to feel like
The Hero of your own life’s journey.

I’m Barbara, an Positive-Aging Educator, ready to help you use baby steps to restore your vitality and hack your longevity. I can help you remove all obstacles that threaten your Hero status from coming true. Through the free magic of mindset, ideas for nourishing your body and soul, and science-based discoveries to restore your energy and well-being we will rise up and create a powerful community of Older + Wiser women.

Because when we make the most of our life, we can all hold hands as we rise up, carrying everyone up along with us.

That’s where I come in.

Did you know that surrounding yourself with age-positive role-models increases your life by more than 7 years?

FINDING INSPIRATION FROM

Joni Mitchell’s triumphant return to the stage (at age 79) for a 3 hour concert after rebounding from her 2015 near-fatal stroke. And the way Brandi Carlile loves and supports and celebrates this iconic artist is just beautiful to me.

It’s the second half of your book; when the plotlines sharpen your curiosity about the ending, “will our Hero rise above these daunting challenges?”, the dialogue is making you chuckle, the settings are lush and enviable, the characters are witty and well-spoken and this is all leading to a deeply satisfying ending where the conquering Hero (you! You’re the Hero) returns home from her long journey, transformed into her best self.

You need to feel vibrant and free to make your own satisfying life story. But there are obstacles standing in your way. Your left hip hurts, your energy lags, your brain has forgotten some words and you're frustrated about how hard it is to sleep. Hard to feel like a Hero when you pee your pants every time you sneeze.

AT A GLANCE

YOU SHOULD PROBABLY KNOW

01

According to the North American Menopause Society (NAMS) there is a knowledge gap in the general public and clinicians (health providers) regarding menopause

02

AARP points out that 80% of graduating internal medicine residents did not feel competent to discuss or treat menopause and only 20% of graduating OB GYN residencies offer menopause training

03

More than 2 million women reach menopause each year in the US and the average woman spends 40% of her life in menopause

04

By the year 2025 more than 1.1 billion women will be menopausal, signaling an urgent need for clinicians and the general public to be educated. let's take this on and educate ourselves.

All about

Early morning walks, foamy coffee with Wordle, picnics near water, laughing with friends and family

NOT ABOUT

Small talk, scary movies, anything “anti-aging” (how can that ever be a thing?)

agree? we're probably a great fit.
